About the Job:

We are currently seeking an experienced tax professional to fill a Tax Manager role on our team. Actual title and responsibilities will be determined based on experience and skill.

In this role you will:



• Prepare and review business and individual federal and state income tax returns.
• Manage, plan, and prioritize tax projects and provide examination support research
• Perform tax research, planning, and consulting tailored for clients’ circumstances
• Communicate with clients regarding tax service engagements
• Work closely with the firm Partners
• Provide coaching and development opportunities for other tax professionals
• Manage budget, production, and performance goals
• Use ProSystem fx Tax suite of tax preparation software, including Pro fx Engagement

Qualified Candidates should have:

• At least six years of progressive public accounting tax experience, with supervisory experience preferred.
• CPA License in good standing
• Strong knowledge of federal tax reporting requirements related to privately held businesses and individuals
• Ability to work in a team environment
• The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Self-motivated and driven to provide excellent client service
• Positive attitude towards work, co-workers, clients and life
• Ability and willingness to work seasonal overtime
Preferred candidates will also have the following:

• Masters in Tax.
• Motivation and desire to develop your career as a Tax Partner
• Experience servicing the construction and real estate industries
• Experience filing multi-state, estate and gift tax returns
• Experience using ProSystem fx Tax and Engagement
